With advanced equipment—including TIG and MIG welders, bandsaws, metal plate rolls, and a CNC plasma cutter—we can handle projects of any size or complexity with precision and care.

Founded in 2021, Porter Industries is backed by decades of experience. Owner Jared Porter brings 25 years in the industry as an Ironworker and Construction Job Superintendent, as well as leadership experience as a former Vice President of a steel fabrication shop. Our team of certified welders excels in welding, cutting, fitting, plasma cutting, and blueprint reading, ensuring every project meets the highest safety and quality standards on schedule.

Jared has extensive experience as an ironworker since 1995, including fieldwork and supervision. Previously, he was the Vice President of a steel fabrication shop. He enjoys the challenges of his role and values teamwork. Outside of work, Jared loves his family, faith, and riding motorcycles.

Melanie has been with Porter Industries since day one, bringing over 18 years of experience in law and state service. With an associate degree in Paralegal Studies, she values the connections she’s built with her coworkers and the opportunity to serve others. Faith and family are central to her life, and she loves traveling whenever possible.

Katie brings experience as a Benefit Coordinator in the dental field and is a graduate of Green High School, and has also attended Shawnee State University, and SCCTC. She takes pride in seeing her family legacy grow and values the quality craftsmanship at Porter Industries. Outside of work, she loves traveling, spending time with her husband, and being a proud dog mom.

Katie Bush

Administrative Assistant

Andrew brings over 20 years of experience in welding, fabrication, CNC operations, and industrial equipment maintenance and repair. He enjoys seeing jobs through from start to finish and takes pride in the craftsmanship at Porter Industries. Family-oriented and passionate about the outdoors, he spends his free time riding side-by-sides, camping, and relaxing with loved ones.

Brayden, a Marine Corps veteran, brings dedication and discipline to his role as Maintenance Manager at Porter Industries. He values the family-oriented environment, supportive leadership, and balanced work schedule that make the company feel like home.

Chris brings a wealth of experience gained from starting in the fabrication industry at 17. With a passion for the trade, he has worked on everything from commercial and industrial projects to government and military contracts. A dedicated family man, Chris enjoys hunting and always strives to do his best

Mason, a Green High School and SCTC graduate with an industrial maintenance certification, has been with Porter Industries since the beginning. He values the camaraderie within the team and is dedicated to staying with the company long-term, planning to retire here.

Jeffrey joined Porter Industries as a welder with previous experience in the Steel Industry. He enjoys fitting and building and values the honest work environment at Porter Industries.

Justin joined the team in February, bringing experience as a fabricator, welder, and truck driver. A Dawson-Bryant and Collins Career Center graduate, he values the family atmosphere and describes the company as honest and caring. Outside of work, Justin enjoys coaching little league and spending time with his wife, kids, and friends.
